Amaury has 15 years experience in remedial massage therapy. He has worked alongside different practitioners and has developed his own massage style. He has set up practices in Australia, Hungary and Norway. The focus of remedial massage as a manual therapy is to help the body to heal itself as well as helping re-program the nervous system with sensory disruption. Massage also helps relieve anxiety and emotional distress associated with pain and chronic pain. Using a wide range of techniques, Amaury tailors the massage to the client’s needs so the massage have an effect on the general well-being as well as a focus at the client’ specific musculoskeletal issues.
As the massage industry has changed in Australia with new regulations and Work and Health Safety, Amaury is completed for the second time a certificate level IV in massage therapy as well as a remedial massage diploma at TAFE Randwick in 2020-2021. Clients can now claim health fund rebates for remedial massage.
Amaury has experience in sports injuries as well as treating headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, upper back pain, lower back pain and chronic pain.
Amaury is a marathon runner and knows about chronic pain associated with injury. Amaury works as well with professional and sports oriented individuals to help them achieve peak performance, prepare and recover after training and competitions.
