Ania Pawliszak

Dip. Integrated Therapies, Dip. Massage (Remedial).

Ania has held a lifelong fascination in the interconnection of the body-mind. Her journey began with a three year Diploma of Psychology which she undertook concurrently while completing her Undergraduate, and then Masters of Business degrees in Poland. Five years ago, she began to explore her interests in the human body by studying Remedial Massage, Martial Arts and Yoga. She has been practising bodywork since then and has continued to develop her skills by learning different therapeutic approaches: Cranio sacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Positional Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Shiatsu. That allows her, based on the evaluation and determination of the cause of the dysfunction, to introduce different modalities during her treatments.

The core of her therapeutic approach is one that places the intrinsic healing ability of the body-mind at the centre of the resolution of all injuries and traumas. Soft tissue injuries, (muscle, ligament, tendon), and psycho-emotional challenges, (anxiety, life stressors, depression), all require the body to be in a place of nutritional, biomechanical and emotional balance in order to heal effectively. Also she believes in the human potential for change and her work is focused on supporting people and their bodies through these changes.
