Petros Vournelis

B.Sc., M.Chiro. Assoc.Dip.Health Sc.(massage), Post Grad. course in musculoskeletal Acupuncture.

Petros has over 20 years experience as a practitioner having completed a Bachelor of Science Degree, a Masters Degree in Chiropractic, an associate Diploma in Health Science (massage) and a post graduate course in musculo skeletal acupuncture. His post graduate training has him focusing on postural and movement pattern assessment and in the significance of these poor movement patterns in the treatment of pain.

Petros is a registered osteopath and chiropractor and his diversity in training allows him to integrate various techniques when treating the human body. He also has a strong rehabilitation aspect in his clinic, which allows him to prescribe exercise to prolong the effects of his treatments. He has completed various rehabilitation courses taught by the internationally renowned Scott Fonda and Craig Liebenson.

Petros has had teaching roles with Pilates International in Anatomy & Physiology and Functional Anatomy and is currently teaching 4th year students at the Macquarie University Chiropractic program. Petros has also recently qualified for his Open Water SCUBA certificate and has keenly embraced the underwater world.

Rinaldo Gulic

BSc (chiro), Master of Chiropractic, member of COCA

Rinaldo graduated with a bachelor of chiropractic science and masters of Chiropractic degrees in 2003 from Macquarie university, Sydney. Since then Rinaldo has worked along side numerous practitioners leading in the field of Spinal Rehabilitation and sports injury management. With his keen interest in nutrition and exercise science, Rinaldo’s clinical practice sees a wide range of muscular skeletal ailments, encompassing a diverse range of age particularly those relating to the athlete and/or sports person.

Rinaldo intergrates various manipulative and non manipulative techniques in diagnosis, treatment and management of his patients. These include deep tissue massage, soft tissue and neural manipulation, dry needling and gentle joint manipulation. He also uses rehabilitation and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) methods torestore and maintain biomechanical integrity and prevent chronic pain and dysfunction.

Rinaldo continues his post graduate training in the areas of chiropractic and manual medicine with a speciality interst in DNS and the Prague School of Rehabilitation and core training.

Emma Baseley

BSc (Chiropractic), Master of Chiropractic

Emma has completed a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic Degree from Macquarie University, this has enabled her to incorporate diversified chiropractic technique, mobilizations, myofascial release, soft tissue techniques and rehabilitation guiding the individual patient to their optimum.

Emma has had experience with sporting events including being the trainer for the NSW country under 15 girls soccer team, Oxfam Trail Walk and Surf Life Saving events. She has also assisted many Sydney chiropractors. She has worked with children for the past 5 year and hopes to further her learning in chiropractic paediatric and women's health in the near future.
Emma believes that a healthy lifestyle combined with chiropractic care can lead a patient to their optimum functioning.

Emma incorporates a combination of soft tissue work, spinal and peripheral joint manipulation, drop piece and activator, and includes Webster technique in treating her patients. She is also highly skilled in rehabilitation training. Her area of speciality is in paediatric and pregnancy chiropractic

Sheldon Caines

Dip. Remedial Massage, Dip. Sport. Elite Athlete Services, Dip. Fitness

Sheldon joins us from the eastern coast of Canada, where prior to his arrival in Australia, competed for many years in representative athletics. He works in the clinic as a remedial massage therapist working along side the principal practitioner and also seeing private clients.

Sheldon is diploma qualified in the areas of Remedial Massage, Fitness, Sport and currently provides services to professional sporting teams such as the Canterbury Bulldogs and Sydney South Rabbitohs through JRM Australia. His sessions conform to the individual requirements of the client. He firmly believes that a balanced lifestyle precedes a healthy lifestyle and that one’s physical state is unique to the lives they lead as individuals. Through postural analysis, range of movement, palpation and bilateral comparison treatment is tailored appropriately.

With a strong foundation in corrective and rehabilitative exercise his passion for others extends beyond the clinic, encouraging clients to engage in self-care and self-education, becoming active participants in their own healthcare.
